Latin Motion Dance Company is holding a public audition
for its 2012 Student Performance Class
on January 22, 2012 in Arlington from 5-7pm.

You do not have to prepare in advance.
Just wear clothes/shoes you can dance in (men no sneakers; women dance shoes or heels).
You don’t need a partner. A $5 studio fee is requested per dancer.
The student performance class is a 12-week advanced salsa series On 1.
Learn advanced partnering, men's/ladies styling and footwork.
Dancers may qualify for Semi-pro or pro group status during this audition.

The dance studio is to the left after you enter.
Tell them you are there for the Salsa/class Audition.
They may ask you to sign in. Please come a few minutes early if you can.

Those who pass the audition will receive an e-mail inviting them to join
the Latin Motion Student Performance Team that begins rehearsing our 2012 piece
on Saturday, January 28, 2012. The class meets Saturdays from 11am – 1 pm for 12 weeks
in Arlington The cost is $24 a week for those who pass the audition;
$27 a week for non-audition members.
After the course, there will be a one month, four session choreography
class to prepare to perform. The price for this separate class one month’s dues.
Only people who perform are required to take this class.
The debut performance is scheduled for June 9, 2012 at the Glen Echo DC Salsa Showcase
with a follow-on performance at the DC Salsa Congress.

For those not interested in performing, this class is also designed to be both an advanced Salsa class
where you will learn intermediate/advanced Salsa partnering On 1, Shines,
Ladies & Men’s partnering and individual STYLING.
