| The 2008 DC Salsa Rueda Congress - April 18-19, 2008
The event will have Open Dancing, At least 6 Salsa and Rueda Workshops including Some of the areas best Salsa and Rueda Instructors and Out of Town Instructors. Performances by SAOCO, ClaveKazi, DC Casineros, Latin Motion, Rueda USA, Dance-in-Time and more, Live Salsa with two of DC’s best Local Bands: Sin Miedo and Orchesta La Sensual, Music from DJ Reyna, Dj Mike El Sonero and more, and THE BIG RUEDA (our record setting dance-en-mass Casino event).
Friday April 18th 7:30pm – 2:00am in Baltimore @ Xanadu & Virginia @ Cecelia’s night club.
Saturday April 19th 6:00pm – 1:00am in Glen Echo, MD at Glen Echo’s Spanish Ballroom.
Salsa and Rueda performance dance groups are still welcome!
Sales end at 6:00pm on Thursday.
You have to pay at the door.
The whole event costs $30 at the door:
Friday April 18th 7:30pm – 2:00am inVirginia @ Cecilia’s night club - $15 at the door.
Saturday April 19th 6:00pm – 1:00am at Glen Echo’s Spanish Ballroom - $15 at the door.

From the Capital Beltway (Interstate 495), take exit 40 on the outer loop
or exit 41 east on the inner loop. Take Clara Barton/Cabin John Parkway to the MacArthur Blvd/Glen Echo exit. At the stop sign, make a left onto MacArthur Blvd. Go past Goldsboro Rd at the traffic circle and then make the first left onto Oxford Rd (across from Glen Echo Shopping Center), into our parking lot. From the corner of the parking lot, walk along the path across the Minnehaha Creek bridge to enter Glen Echo Park. The Spanish Ballroom is on the right, just behind our merry-go-round.
