WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?

Latin Motion helps to enrich the cultural landscape in the area, and to educate the public about Latin dance.

We practice up to 8 hours a week and we perform regularly in the NoVA/DC area.

Company members are unpaid, dedicating themselves to the company out of a passion for salsa, dance, and music. All of our members hold full-time jobs or are full-time students.

Latin Motion is proud to have been selected to perform at the West Coast Salsa Congress (May 26-29) in Los Angeles, the world’s biggest and most prestigious salsa convention. The group represented DC in LA had the honor to be selected for an encore on Friday May 27, 2005.

We will also had the honor of performing at the DC Salsa Congress (June 10-12).

Latin Motion was also invited to perform at the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress (July 24-30), and the New York Salsa Congress (September 1-4). This is in addition to the numerous performances we are giving in the DC metro area throughout the spring and summer.

Unfortunately, these trips incur a great deal of expense for the members of our team.

THE TOTAL ESTIMATE NEEDED TO TAKE LATIN MOTION TO ONE SALSA CONGRESS IS: $8000
